  All I wanted was a strip and fit. For those who don't know what that is. It when you go with your own tires and rims. They "strip the old tires off and put them another set of rims. I got a quote for $20 per rim. This is common practice. I have done this many times before and it is somewhere usually between $20-$30 per tire depending it you get the shop to dispose of the old tires.
  
  So when I got to the shop. Myself and the a large man who served me talked about my rims on an unrelated topic. As a result of this conversation I said that I just wanted the "strip" not the "fit". I was told it would be the same price??? For less than half the work???after questioning this. The gentleman I was talking to the a stumbled over his words and said it would cost $40 per rim to do the "fit" as well. Smelling a rat I bit him good day. Next door. "Tyre Power" happily did both strip and fit for $25 per rim.(I had decided to still go ahead with both). In the end he onlymcharged
  Me $100 as he is going to do more
  For me. This is what happens when under estimate your customers knowledge.
